Anthropic is making massive changes to Claude’s pricing. Here is exactly what is happening and when:
– Weekly limits for Claude Code are increasing by 50% through July 13th. That means you can send significantly more prompts and generate more code before hitting the usage cap.
– BUT starting June 15th, using Claude outside of Claude Code (like OpenClaw or Hermes) means you get a set monthly credit, and once credits run out, you are billed at the expensive API rate. Some people are estimating a 100-200 credit will burn out in just a few HOURS of heavy work, making Claude Code way more expensive for many.
